Frequently asked  Questions

Do I really need this if I already have a wedding planner?

Your wedding planner is brilliant at what they do. But their role is to manage the event. My role is to protect you. Reviewing contracts, asking the hard questions, making sure every decision stays true to your vision. That is a completely different job. Having a great planner and having a dedicated advocate are not the same thing. Most couples do not realize that until they wish they had both.

What does "client advocacy" actually mean in practice?

It means you have someone whose only job is to look out for you. When a contract has language that does not work in your favor, I catch it. When a decision feels off, I help you think it through. When a difficult conversation needs to happen, I handle it. You stop wondering if your interests are being protected, because you know they are.

I have a planner I love and trust. Why would I need someone else involved?

Because even the most talented planner is managing vendors, logistics, and timelines across multiple clients at once. My focus is entirely on you. Your priorities, your budget, your experience. It is not about oversight. It is about having someone whose only agenda is yours.

What kinds of problems do you actually prevent?

The ones no one sees coming. Budget creep. Contract clauses that do not protect you the way you think they do. Decisions made in the name of efficiency that quietly compromise your vision. Family dynamics that escalate before anyone steps in. Most of what I do is invisible because it never becomes a problem.

What if something goes wrong with a vendor?

That is exactly when having an advocate matters most. I step in, handle the conversation, and protect the relationship where possible and hold the line where it matters. You should never have to choose between advocating for yourself and keeping the peace. That is my job.

Is this just for luxury or high budget weddings?

It is for anyone where the stakes are high. Destination weddings, large families, demanding careers, multiple decision makers, contracts worth tens of thousands of dollars. If the cost of something going wrong, financially or emotionally, is significant, that is when having someone in your corner matters most.

Can you help if we are already mid-planning and things feel off?

Always. It is never too late to bring in independent support. Whether something has already gone sideways or things just feel harder than they should, we start wherever you are. The Planning Audit exists specifically for this moment.

Will this create tension with my wedding planner?

Not at all. This role is designed to work in partnership with planners, not around them. A clear, organized point of contact on the client side often makes a planner's job smoother. The goal is to support the process, not disrupt it.

How do I know which package is right for me?

That is what our first conversation is for. No pressure, no pitch. Just an honest discussion about where you are and what kind of support would actually make a difference.

What if I just want to talk before committing to anything?

That is exactly how it should start. Reach out, we will find a time to connect, and you will leave with more clarity than you came in with.
